Our friend Scott Cohen’s film, is about to premiere in America and I thought some of you might like to see the trailer. Winner of the Fipresci Grand Jury prize for best New American Cinema, Red Knot is an ‘Antarctic Love Story’ starring Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men) and Olivia Thirlby (Juno). Set on a research vessel en route to the Antarctica, this poetic meditation explores ‘ themes that are at once universal and personal: our closest relationships and the wilderness that lies between us.’
Expect stunning visuals and a compelling narrative from this lovely NYC-based director / photographer, whose work can be found in private collections in the U.S, South America and Europe.

‘ This curious world we inhabit…is more wonderful than convenient; more beautiful than useful; it is more to be admired and enjoyed than used.’ – Thoreau
